Availability of Products
Not all products are available for purchase online. Some products are not available for purchase online because we cannot ship them to you by UPS or FedEx.
Size, weight, corrossivity and flammability factors limit many products from being shipped by UPS or FedEx.

UPS and FedEx charge exhorbitant fees (HAZARDOUS MATERIAL CHARGES & ADDITIONAL HANDLING CHARGES) to ship packages larger than a gallon and any flammable items. They will accept flammables and corrosives, however, in some cases, the shipping charges can be more than the price of the product. If you would like to order a product that is not offered online or would like to purchase product in bulk, see section on how to purchase from an Authorized PRO® Distributor.

UPS Policy:

UPS accepts hazardous materials on a contract basis only. UPS accepts non-bulk quantities of hazardous materials shipments for transport by "highway and rail" modes when prepared in accordance with the Department of Transportation Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR). This UPS Guide for Shipping Ground and Air Hazardous Materials should always be used in conjunction with the most current HMR as documented in Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR).

You, as the shipper, may ship specific hazardous materials in specific quantities as outlined in the chemical table as long as you fully comply with all governmental regulations and UPS variations.

In some cases, UPS requirements are more restrictive than those of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). UPS "conditions incident to transportation" differ from those of other systems due to our unique method for sorting, handling, and moving packages. UPS only accepts hazardous materials shipments from customers that follow these variations.

 


Hazardous Materials Surcharges
Some items are classified by the DOT (U.S. Dept. of Transportation) as CORROSIVE or FLAMMABLE, which are designated as Hazardous Materials- BAF Industries is on contract with UPS and therefore are able to ship Hazardous Materials. However, these items are subject to a $32.00 UPS/FedEx Hazardous Materials Surcharge for each box (1 - 4 gals.) or Five (5) Gallon Container.

Additional Handling Charges
Five (5) Gallon Containers may be subject to an Additional Handling Charge of $10.85 per container. These are surcharges only and does not include the actual shipping charges.

Shippers
Products purchased online are delivered via select Ground carriers like UPS, FedEx or RPS.

Shipping and Handling Methods
Shipping is expensive with the nature of our products. So we try to get the product to you the most efficient and cost effective way. We will ship using our choice of expedited FedEx, RPS or UPS unless you give us special shipping instructions. Our shipping rates are based on us making the choice of shipping method, and if you specify a more expensive method, we will pass the costs along to you.

Shipping and Handling Rates

S&H charges are determined by the cost and weight of the item, the amount of packing materials needed and any service charges associated with the product, but UPS and Fed Ex have minimum charges also. If you order multiple items, we will always adjust the S&H charge to your advantage. These surcharges and prices are right out of the UPS/FedEx rate guide.

We earn our living by manufacturing and selling quality products, not by doubling the shipping charges. If you have a question about s&h charges for a specific combination of items, please e-mail us; there are far too many possible combinations to list them all. Please note that this does not apply to all orders; some products must be packaged in a separate box, and those S&H charges are listed in the product section

US. Delivery Information -- Non Holiday
Shipping charges listed are for delivery in the Continental U.S. only.

Ground Service Only
Due to the combustible classification rating on most PRO® Products, All direct-shipped items purchased online can only be delivered by Ground service. There are No Air Shipments Available due to more restrictive D.O.T. Classifications on air shipments.

Additional Residential Delivery Charges Apply.
This applies to all ground shipments destined to a home or private residence within the U.S., including a business operated out of the home. This is in addition to standard See UPS additional Charges.

Delivery Times
We ship items year round, five days per week (Monday - Friday). Standard delivery orders should arrive at their destination 7 to 10 business days from the date the order is received in our system.

Addresses
Neither FedEx, RPS nor UPS can deliver to a Post Office box. We need a street address!

Multiple Addresses
Multiple items going to different delivery addresses will be treated as separate orders when shipping charges are calculated.

Multiple Delivery Dates
Multiple items being delivered on different delivery dates to the same address will be treated as separate orders when shipping charges are calculated.

Upgraded Shipping Options
Upgraded shipping options are available for an additional charge only on certain items which are not regulated by D.O.T. This additional fee will be added to your shipping charges.


Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I place an order?
When your order is placed on the web site, you will see a "Thank You" page, which will confirm your online order. This is confirmation that your order has successfully been placed. Your order is then sent over a secure connection to PROWAX.COM. If placed between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM PDT, it will then be processed within an hour. If placed after 4:30 pm PDT, your order will be processed at 7:30 AM PDT the following day. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been received at PROWAX.COM. If there are any problems with your order, one of our customer service associates will contact you by phone or email.

What if I do not receive an order confirmation via e-mail?
Our office hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM PDT Monday-Friday. During normal business hours, you will receive an order confirmation message via e-mail shortly after PROWAX.COM receives your order. If you do not receive this message within 4 hours of placing your order, there might be a delay on the Web due to traffic.

If your order is placed after 4:30 pm PDT, your order will be processed at 7:30 AM PDT the following day and you will then receive an email confirmation.

If you do not receive an email confirmation within 24 hours (Monday-Thursday) of placing your order, please feel free to contact us at 1-800-854-0213 to ensure that your order is being processed.

Can I change the delivery address?
We will be happy to change the delivery address as long as your order has not been delivered or is not on its way to being delivered. To request a change to your order's delivery address, please enter the new address information into our online Secure Server Order Form and reference the previous order and send the new info. Do not send another order. You can contact us by phone at 1-800-854-0213 to ensure that your order is being processed.


Can I change the date of my order's delivery?
If your order has not been delivered, or is not on its way to being delivered, we will be happy to change its intended delivery date. To request a change to your delivery date, please enter the new delivery date information into our online Secure Server Order Form and reference the previous order and send the new info .

Why is shipping so expensive?
Our costs for shipping and shipping cartons have nearly doubled in the past two years. We do not treat shipping and handling as a "profit center" at PROWAX.COM and we show you the S&H so you'll know better where your money is going. We simply try to recover our extra costs. We too wish shipping and boxes didn't cost as much!
